Element-T, Element-B, and Element-U2s come with two Lithium batteries pre-installed. When you receive an alert from the system that your batteries are low, you will still have several weeks to get replacement batteries installed before you lose any data.



Please use Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries (Model#: LN92/LN91). Alkaline batteries can be used temporarily, but they will not clear battery alerts and will not last as long. Example Amazon purchase links are below:

Element-T and Element-B:


  1. Turn over the Element-T to the side with the device stickers
  2. Push down on the plastic door and slide it up.

Element-U:


  1. Turn over the Element-U to the side with the device stickers
  2. Push door tab towards the center and remove door
